The "Century Edition" is a real gem with a gold-painted V8 engine from Ilmor Marine. The gauges created by IWC Schaffhausen appear with an exclusive design for the dashboard. The waterline is also painted in gold. A further sign of exclusivity is the Century Edition emblem and the numbered plaque. We install these exclusively inside the 20 limited boats produced for the anniversary edition. The boats are custom built and are being made in all available types and lengths of the Boesch model range - we are happy to cater to all your specific requests during the production of every unique unit of the 20 «Century Edition» boats.
The Ilmor MV8 5.7L is one of the most powerful, robust and reliable engines and is installed as the standard inside all Boesch boats. Durable, reliable, and efficient, the 5.7L is designed to keep your mind off troubleshooting and focused on enjoying your day on the water. The 5.7L has also been certified for tournament use by the American Water Ski Association.
The MV8 6.0L takes your on-water experience to the next level, exclusively featuring variable valve timing for extra performance and is available as an option for all Century Edition models (except for Sunski 625).
The Ilmor MV8 Ocean Performance Series (OPS) engines are designed for salt-water use or other closed cooled applications. OPS engines provide superior temperature control compared to an open cooled system and enhance catalyst performance through temperature control. OPS engines offer full system corrosion protection and utilize environmentally friendly coolant.
In addition to the exclusive features of the Century Edition such as the IWC gauges, all boats are being individually manufactured on demand and delivered with an extensive standard equipment. Options such as a high-quality Nardi steering wheel are available on request. Take a look at the equipment and options for individualization with the example of the Boesch 860 Century Edition shown above.
The gauges of the instruments on the Boesch Century Edition model range were redesigned by IWC on the occasion of the anniversary. All on-board instruments now appear in an exclusive IWC design. Both manufacturers are passionately committed not only to design and technology, but also to sustainability.
On the occasion of the 100th company anniversary of Boesch, IWC Schaffhausen is releasing an exclusive Aquatimer Automatic Edition “Boesch”, which is limited to 100 timepieces. IWC let its designers incorporate the entire Boesch ambience into the anniversary watch: design, materials and colors were inspired by the boat manufacturer - the mahogany brown plays an important role in this. A special homage to the boat builder is shown by the "view through the glass" bottom: the in-house caliber 82110 has a golden propeller engraved on the rotor where the IWC “Probus Scafusia” seal of approval is usually found. Further information on the various models and pricing can be obtained directly from the official IWC shops in Schaffhausen, Zurich or Geneva.
