100 years ago, boat builder Jakob Boesch laid the foundation stone for our family business. His passion for wooden boats is now lived in the fourth generation. From sailing boats to motor boats and electric boats, which were already produced at the end of the 19th century, from repair work to one-offs and series production - during our hundred year history we can look back on many successful achievements. With the "Century Edition" we now enter the next century!
Just before the beginning of the Second World War, Walter Boesch develops the first motorboats according to the principle of Boesch-Horizon-Gliding, which is still used today. Thanks to their excellent characteristics, Boesch motorboats are also very popular with water skiers. Thus they are used several times as towing boats at world and European championships. In 1964, the layered Boesch construction method ushered in a new era in boat building, as it provided an extremely age-resistant and strong hull. In the 1980s Boesch produces classic, high-performance and sport-class mahogany boats. In 2005 the first Boesch Electric Powerboats with high engine performance are launched. Boating culture in perfection is the hallmark of the flagship "970 St. Tropez", which has enriched the Boesch fleet since 2009. The Boesch 860 will be launched brand new for the anniversary. All Boesch boats have one thing in common: they excite with their classic elegance and their exceptionally sustainable construction.
